For the past two years, I have had students write letters to future generations to tell their stories about food, their memories of San Jose/history, and more. In the end, I put their letter in a class magazine so that they would receive it by the next school year. I see this magazine as a piece of history and storytelling that students don't often get in classrooms. I did this project Spring 2024 and told my students at my old school, they will receive it in Fall 2024. Unfortunately, I had to pause this project in the Fall of 2024, but I finally took the time to complete this project and I want to keep a promise to my former students.
