Hello, my name is Rhonda. My dear friend Earnie Taylor had a devastating fire at his home. Earnie's mother passed away recently, and he inherited this home from her, only to have it catch fire from a short above the hood on his stove. This has put a huge hardship on Earnie, destroying the kitchen and some adjacent rooms, but the smoke damage has caused him to lose his furniture, all his clothing, and other items that were irreplaceable. This has displaced Earnie and his dear fur baby for an estimated 6 to 8 months while they try to rebuild.

Please help in any way you can. Earnie is one of the most selfless humans I've ever met in my life as he runs backpacks for the homeless in Richmond, Virginia. The day after the fire, Earnie was out doing work for the homeless and only said how lucky he was. I asked him what he needed; of course, he tells me he's OK, but I know with the loss of a home to live in, all his food, his clothing, and furniture, it is going to be a huge financial impact on him.
