I’ve been working as a flight attendant for Spirit Airlines for nearly five years, and I’ve always taken pride in my work and independence. On May 2, while I was mid-flight, we received the shocking news that the company would cease all operations at 3am. Suddenly, I found myself without a job, health insurance, or any certainty about my last paycheck. Living alone in Houston, this has placed a huge burden on my shoulders, both financially and emotionally.

I know many people have reached out to check on my well-being, and I’m truly grateful for that support. I’m not someone who likes to depend on others, but right now, I’m humbly asking for help.
