Hello Eagle Rock High School Boys Soccer family, friends, fans and players! We hope you're excited about the upcoming season, which begins next Monday, Dec. 2!

But in order to make sure the season is as successful as possible, the team needs a little bit of support. As Coach Aguilar explained in our preseason meeting earlier this month, the team hopes to be able to use the HUDL system to record games and make them available for review by the team. In addition, the goals need new nets and there are always small incidental costs the the team incurs over the course of the season.

The total need, according to Coach Aguilar, is $1,500. (That excludes a separate, long-term ambition of replacing the goals themselves, as the current ones are a bit rusty and tired. But that's much more expensive — an estimated $6K — so if we do really well with this, we may grow our goal!)

We realize everyone's ability to contribute isn't the same and that many families are already paying for their kids to play club soccer and/or have kids involved multiple sports, with all the commitments of money and time that implies. For that reason, while we are asking you to consider making a donation to support the team, we completely understand that might not be possible for everyone. So if you can contribute $1, $50, $100 or more, that's great, but if not, we completely understand and will make this season as strong as possible regardless.

One logistical note: since Coach Aguilar cannot solicit or receive donations to the team, all the money raised in this fundraiser will be given to ERHS with a designation that it be given to the boys soccer team.
