Support Eagle Lake Methodist Church

This fundraiser was created by the congregation of Eagle Lake Methodist Church in our efforts to secure our church building and property to continue church and community activities. Your tax deductible donations will be transferred to the church building fund and be used for this express purpose.

Eagle Lake is a small isolated community 30 miles distant from the nearest town. Eagle Lake Methodist Church was built in 1949, and continues to serve our members and the Eagle Lake community. We have a long history of functioning as a community meeting place and are designated as the community’s emergency medivac location. During catastrophic floods we supported the community through hosting community meetings and by being the recovery distribution center for the community. We hosted and fed volunteers during the months-long recovery efforts. When the other community church burned in 2013, we shared our facilities for 40 months until their new church was completed.

We need your help to raise these funds by June 15th to buy back our church and continue to do God’s work ministering to our members and community. We are dedicated to doing the Lord’s work in our church, our community and wherever the Holy Spirit leads.
