I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Dylan, who was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident while doing everything he could just to keep his household afloat.

Dylan had already been struggling this winter after his job went bankrupt, leaving him out of work for a while. When he finally found a new job, transportation became an issue. His Jeep broke down, and with limited options, he began riding his motorcycle to work, simply to keep money coming in and bills paid.

Tragically, while riding to work, Dylan was involved in an accident caused by another driver not paying attention. He is incredibly lucky to be alive, but he suffered a broken foot and a bruised lung and is now facing surgery. Doctors expect he will be out of work for at least two months, likely longer.

During this time, Dylan and his family are facing overwhelming financial stress. Without his income, they are at risk of:

• Losing their home

• Falling behind on mortgage and utility bills

• Struggling to keep basic necessities like heat, water, and electricity

• Caring for their animals

• Paying medical expenses, transportation repairs, and towing fees to retrieve his motorcycle

This accident didn’t just cause physical injuries, it completely derailed a family that was already doing everything they could to survive.

Dylan is a hardworking, loving partner and father, and his family is beyond grateful that he survived. Now they need help getting through the aftermath.
