Update on Dylan
As many of you know, back in June Dylan was diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), a chronic illness that requires him to undergo dialysis four times a week just to stay alive — until he can receive a kidney transplant.
Now, that time has come.
On Friday, August 22, we spent hours with the UNC transplant team learning about the next steps. Dylan is officially in the transplant process.
If you've ever considered helping Dylan — truly saving a life — now is the time. Please consider getting tested to see if you could be a living kidney donor.
For more information or to begin the process contact case worker in this picture below.
Thank you for your support, love, and prayers.

**Update on Dylan Brown – End-Stage Renal Disease Journey**
7/2/25
We wanted to share an update on Dylan’s health and the progress he’s made over the past few weeks. On June 4th, Dylan was admitted to the ICU and remained there until June 13th as he was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease. Since then, he has started dialysis and began dialysis training.
He’s undergone several procedures, including the placement of a fistula and, most recently, a catheter exchange. Despite the challenges, Dylan has remained strong and is now in home hemodialysis training. He’s expected to complete the training within the next couple of weeks and will begin doing dialysis treatments from the comfort of home.
We continue to be grateful for all of the support, encouragement, and generosity shown to Dylan during this time. Every message and donation has helped lighten the load as he adjusts to a completely new way of life. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts as he moves into this next phase of care.
Dylan is beyond grateful for all the love, support and donations.

Hi sweet friends, this is Maggie Brown, Dylan’s little sister and Kallie, his finanće.
Together as a family and community we want to ask for any support you can show Dylan as he takes on a new journey.
June 4th, Dylan was admitted into the ICU, battling severe kidney failure at only 28, he has been shocked with the news of needing dialysis and eventually a transplant. Dylan is strong, and in good spirits, ready to do what it takes to live a long happy life. But now instead of living life freely he's facing months of treatment, surgeries and unimaginable stress. God is good and we are all leaning into him now. He is very outgoing and adventurous. All he does is live life to the fullest. Hopefully we can get him back to doing all the things he loves as soon as possible. All donations will go directly to all medical expenses, bills, surgeries, hospital stays etc. Anything helps and please keep him in your prayers it means the world to us.
Thank you in advance for all the love and support for Dylan & our family.
