Support Dylan's Fight Against Coyote Attack

Hi my name is Kathryn, the love of my life Dylan,my 4 legged dog was attacked by 3 coyotes last night about 10:30 pm. We had driven back from Los Angeles after a 4.5 drive and I let Dylan out for. minute to go the bathroom. That is when the coyotes came, if we did not yell and scream he would have been taken. I am new to the area and did not realize the dangers and population of coyotes.

A neighbor took me to VCA in Indio and they gave him injections to make him more comfortable. I took him home in a crate with me so he could smell and hear his environment. I promised to bring him back this morning at 7:00 am which I did, he has been in surgery for 5 hours, now he has to be transferred to Redlands by ambulance and needs to stay at the hospital for a period of time which is $1200for the ambulance and $4000 a night for the hospital.

and the Indio visit was over $8000. Unfortunately, I do not have insurance. This is a true hardship and would appreciate any donations.

Last evening at approximately 10:30 PM Security was notified of a coyote attack on the premises near the wash on Camino Arroyo South. Because we back up to the wash, coyotes are a danger to our pets. This is an important reminder to keep your pets safe, on a leash at all times and do not let them outside of your view, especially at night. If you’re out walking your small dogs, particularly in the evening, stay alert.
