Support After Devastating Fire
Donation protected
On the night of July 4th, our childhood home, the one my mom, siblings, and I have known for most of our lives — was tragically destroyed in a fire. A rogue firework struck a boat cover belonging to my youngest brother and his friend, which caught fire and quickly spread to the house. Within moments, flames engulfed everything. Only one room was left untouched.
By a miracle, no one was home at the time, and we are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe. However, the loss is still devastating.
We’ve managed to recover some cherished childhood photos and a few memories, but so much has been lost furniture, clothing, keepsakes, and the comfort of the place we once called home. What makes this even harder is that my mom and step-dad did not have renters insurance, and my step-dad has been out of work for the past year due to a motorcycle accident. He’s been undergoing intense surgeries and treatments and is still in the thick of recovery.
This GoFundMe is to help them rebuild from this unimaginable loss. Every donation no matter how small goes directly to helping with essentials, temporary housing, and starting over. If you’re unable to give financially, your thoughts and prayers mean the world to us right now.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and supporting our family during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Dylan & Family
