My name is Robbie Davis Jr. and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, Dylan Davis. Many of you know Dylan as a talented jockey who has dedicated his life to the sport of Thoroughbred racing. On Friday, November 14, 2025, while riding at Aqueduct Racetrack in Race 7, Dylan suffered a serious spill.
The fall resulted in multiple injuries, including a broken right collarbone, nine fractured ribs, the loss of his left kidney, upper right arm fracture, and a partially collapsed lung. He has since been hospitalized and will be out of competition for the foreseeable future.
Dylan has always put everything into his craft. Over the years, he’s amassed more than 1,500 wins and become one of the leading riders at NYRA meets. But racing is a demanding sport—when an athlete is sidelined, not only does the physical healing begin, but the unexpected financial and emotional burdens grow.
Why we’re asking for your help:
While Dylan recovers, he will be unable to ride and earn income for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, expenses will continue like medical bills, physical therapy, rehab, ongoing living costs, and the emotional toll on Dylan and our family. We want Dylan to be able to focus completely on getting back to health—without worrying about basic needs or mounting expenses.
How funds will be used:
• Medical care and hospital/rehab expenses
• Physical therapy and recovery support
• Household and living expenses during the recovery period
• Travel or accommodations if needed for specialist care
• Supporting his family through this period of uncertainty
What your support means:
Even a small contribution will help lift a weight off of his shoulders. Beyond the financial impact, the messages of encouragement, prayers, and solidarity mean the world to Dylan and our family. Racing thrives on the community. When one of us goes down, we all rally—and that is what this moment is about.
Thank you for taking the time to read Dylan’s story. If you are able to contribute, please know your generosity will make a real difference in his recovery journey. Please also share this link with anyone who might like to help or send well-wishes. We promise to post regular updates so you can see Dylan’s progress and how your support is helping.
With gratitude,
The Davis Family
