Life has dropped a lot of lemons on us recently and we're trying our best to make lemonade but really need some help at this point. My husband's job has gotten extremely slow lately and the work just isn't there right now so his paychecks have basically been cut by half. I have some pretty major medical issues that have stopped me from being able to work very much until I can get the surgery I need done but can't do that until we get moved. That's the other thing, we are trying to raise some funds to help get us moved within the next 2 weeks. We are moving 3 hours away and need at least one u haul but most likely 2 as we are a family of 6. My father in-law has not been doing very well since my mother in-law passed away back in December. He is having medical issues and is pretty lonely so we will be moving in with him. Trying to get our family moved on Dwight's next 2 paychecks is going to be almost impossible. We also have got to get the kids figured out with school down there as they need school supplies and school clothes. There isn't much work around here that is in Dwight's field either but there is a lot where we are moving to. This move is our best shot at life right now or we are at risk of becoming homeless at this point. This whole situation has made me completely swallow my pride and just ask for some help. Asking for help isn't something we like to do and is very hard on us. I really hope we don't get a lot of judgement from this situation. I never thought in my life we would be at a cross road like this. If it wasn't for our kids, him and I would live in a car for all we care. That's the other thing, our car broke down and was going to cost more to fix than what it was worth so we were without a car for a month. Thankfully my father in-law gave us a car but it needs some work to actually be safe. We've already gotten some parts but still need a few more. All of this has literally happened in the past month so trying to save money to move has been impossible with everything thrown on us at once.
