Support Dwayne’s Recovery (Brain Injury)

Dwayne, a 27-year-old has always been passionate about life and travel. He is gentle, kind-hearted, and made friends easily, despite being an only child.

 In late August, what started as a regular afternoon took a terrifying turn. Dwayne was suddenly unable to speak or move, and he was rushed to the hospital. Doctors discovered a brain bleed that rapidly led to a clot and dangerous swelling. 

Dwayne underwent emergency surgery to remove a piece of his skull to relieve the pressure on his brain. He was placed on a ventilator and remains in a medically induced coma in critical condition.

 The cause of the brain bleed remains a mystery, and Dwayne's condition is still uncertain. As his loved ones wait and hope for his recovery, the emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming. 

This GoFundMe has been created by Dwayne’s friends and family to ask for your prayers, support, and donations. Any contribution you can make will go a long way in helping. 

May, Dwayne’s mother, works full-time as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Toronto. Despite her demanding schedule, she has been tirelessly supporting Dwayne during this difficult time.
