The Duvall community has been hit by record flood waters that rose higher than anyone expected. Many valley residents placed their livelihoods and treasured possessions on shelves and in spaces they believed would be safe, but the unprecedented flooding changed everything. Homes and outbuildings have suffered significant damage, and families are now facing the difficult task of rebuilding their lives.

GoFundMe wants me to inform donators I am a resident of the River Road and the facilitator of funds. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward the 39 houses, renters and businesses to cover insurance deductibles, replace essential items lost in the flood and debris removal. A committee of six (6) including myself, several residents, promo group representative, operations consultant and a banker will manage the recipient list, need evaluation and dispursement. The funds will be dispursed by zelle, venmo or check to the individually affected parties.

Many of the affected residents are generational families who have laid the foundation of what community means to Duvall. These pioneers forged the gateway to our special town, welcoming new and diverse neighbors over the years. Now, as they face this unexpected hardship, your support can help them rebuild and continue the legacy of community that makes Duvall so special.
