Update: Dutton is home and healing!❤️‍. She is making great progress and can go on short little walks around the yard! She is the sweetest tripod ever!

Carolann and Mark just can’t say enough to thank everyone for their support! They feel so blessed. Dutton has a ways to go but she’s alive and wagging her tail!

Hi everyone. This is Mark and Carolann. The most awful thing has happened! Our beloved two-year-old lab Dutton jumped out an open window of a moving car and severely injured her right back leg. She requires either a complicated surgery and long recovery or amputation. Both of which are incredibly expensive ($6 to $10,000). We’ve already spent our savings just in emergency care. If you’ve met Dutton, you know what a wonderful, friendly and loving sweetheart she is. We are asking for donations so we may have a choice other than euthanasia. It would break our hearts. Dutton is the center of our world.
