Because of pain issues, my dog, Dusty, has unexpected veterinary expenses that are beyond my ability to pay. He needs six 1-hour physical therapy (hydrotherapy, acupuncture, electrical stimulation). He needs one per week for three weeks, then wait 15 days, and another; then wait 22 days, then another; then wait one month, then another. The physical therapy sessions are $80 each or $390 for a discounted package of six.
He also needs IV injections of an enzyme called acido hialuronico (brand name, "Legend") in 15 days, every 15 days; then every 3 months. These IV injections are $100 each, so in the next 4-1/2 months it will cost $400.
The transportation roundtrip to the physical therapist/orthopedist for the PT and the IV injections of the enzyme is $12 and we need 10 trips.
Also, Dusty's 500 mg Kamuk CBD oil dosage was doubled, so that doubles the cost. It will be about $75 for his 0.8 mL/day, about $37 per month more. We experimented with stopping his CBD oil and he had more difficulties walking without it.
All these additional expenses add up to $1,097.50 over the next 5 months, much of which is in the next 6 weeks. We would appreciate any help you can offer to Dusty.
We already paid $120 to the orthopedist/physical therapist for XRAYs and a consult, and $12 roundtrip to that visit, and someone already was nice enough to donate $150 towards that expense.
