Dusty Sims was in a serious car accident on Wednesday, April 1st, when his car wrapped around a tree. He had an abnormal blood vessel in the back of his brain rupture while he was driving which caused him to lose consciousness. As a result, he has a frontal contusion, brain bleed, both wrists, right ankle, his jaw and almost every rib are broken. He is currently in ICU at OU Medical in Oklahoma City and facing many surgeries and a very long road to recovery. Dusty is self-employed, running High Hopes Courier Service LLC and Muncheez, and will need multiple surgeries in the coming weeks.

This sudden tragedy has turned Dusty’s world upside down. With such serious injuries, he will be unable to work for some time, and the medical bills and living expenses are quickly adding up. His wife is doing everything she can to be by his side, but she will need to take time off work to support him through his recovery. The financial strain is overwhelming, and they need help from the community now more than ever.
