On behalf of my Dad, Dusty Hall, I am reaching out to ask for support for his Lung Transplant Journey.

After an extended stay in the hospital with Covid-19 in 2020, Dusty's lung function has been on a steady decline. Currently, his left lung is functioning at only 7%, with his right at 91%.

Over the past several months, he has undergone extensive testing and therapy in order to be considered a candidate for the lung transplant list. Last week, he was approved and officially added to the list.

When he receives a call that lungs are available, he and Marie will need to travel to Charleston, SC, and be ready to stay there for at least 3 months, while still maintaining all of their living expenses here in Aiken, SC. This will bring about a substantial monetary need.

Dusty and Marie have been trying their best to prepare for this journey to the best of their ability, but they can only do so much on a retired income. They also underwent a setback a few weeks back when someone failed to yield the right of way and their only dependable vehicle was totaled and they had to replace it.
