Hello all... My name is Dylan Naylor. I'm the one to the right with the braces, to the left is my Dad, Dustin Naylor. You may know my dad as a relative, friend, current or previous co-worker, acquaintance, or someone you met while camping at a NASCAR race or cheering on the Padres at Petco Park.

My dad, Dustin, was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL) about 2 months ago in August. He recently spent around 30 days in the Hospital to gain control of this aggressive, yet treatable blood cancer, and now is at home resting, He's currently active in an 8-10 month chemotherapy treatment plan.

We all ask why did this happen? But then have to reference the "Acute" word in this Blood Cancer's title: an unwelcome situation or phenomenon that cannot be explained - Doctors cannot explain why he got it, he just did.

If you know my Dad, you know that he is a family man, raising in my sister Ava and I to the fullest of his abilities... all of his time and efforts were invested in his kids. If you worked with my Dad, you know he had an extensive career in Higher Education - he has always believed in and worked day in and out to ensure the future success of students through helping them with access to an education. As a friend, you know he was loyal, of leadership mentality, a person who loved to tell a funny story, and always liked to enjoy time with his friends and family.

As we navigate into the next few months, we don't what to expect, other than the costs and resources for his treatment are beginning to and will continue to compile. His Doctors have a very optimistic outlook on a successful treatment plan however this Go Fund Me page is where you can help with that success!
