A year ago, we shared that Dustin had been diagnosed with Acute Heart Failure. Over the past year, he has undergone countless tests, medications, and procedures, unfortunately, his heart function remains very weak and he is in heart failure. Ultimately the doctors think he will need a transplant because of the damage that has been done already. We continue to pray this is not the case.
This Thursday , June 5th, Dustin is scheduled for surgery to have a bi-ventricular defibrillator implanted. Our hope and prayer is that this device will help improve his heart function and support a stronger recovery.
We know how much Dustin values his work and the trust you place in him. While he will be unable to personally perform inspections for 4–6 weeks, rest assured that our clients will be taken care of by trusted professionals during his recovery. Dustin will still be available by phone and happy to coordinate or assist however he can.
