As you can see from the cover photo, my nephew Dustin Feyh is a father, husband and all around good family man. If you know Dustin, you know family and friends mean the world to him! Dustin is always the first person to help others and puts his family and friends first.
On July 15th Dustin was badly burned in a fire and will need time for healing and recuperation. We have an opportunity to help Dustin and his wife, Amber with financial support to help ease the burden of household expenses and medical bills while Dustin is off work. Any dollar amount is welcomed. The campaign has been started at $5000 and may be adjusted once the medical bills arrive.
Below is an excerpt from Amber's Facebook page describing what happened:
"I wanted to explain why we have been M.I.A for a while. Sunday night, we experienced an emergency when Dustin Feyh had lit a bonfire that flashed back and he was caught in the flash. He was sent to OSU with 1st & 2nd degree burns on 20% of his body. His face, legs, arms and hands were affected. Thankfully His face was only 1st degree but everywhere else was 2nd. He is in a lot of pain, and walking is a challenge at the moment, but we are so grateful that he is alive. The most painful of the procedures (the debridement (where they peel off the dead skin) is over, and we are continuing to pray that walking will come easier soon. We are optimistic that we will be discharged tomorrow. Please note: I'm sure a lot of you will be upset that nothing was said at the time this happened. Please know this was Dustin's wishes to keep this private till we knew what the damage was and what we were in for. Due to a lot of painful procedures that took a lo out of him, he asked me not to inform until he was ready. Now he is. I ask that you continue to pray for him. And thank you for all who have stepped up and helped us in this process."
