Dustin is my friend and coworker. Many of you know him, and you definitely know his dog, Hamlet, who is always by his side. Dustin is the kind of person who brings a smile to everyone he meets, and Hamlet is just as much a part of our community as Dustin is. After a long shift, Dustin slipped on a sheet of ice while walking Hamlet and broke his ankle. In one moment, he went from working full time to being unable to work at all, facing a long and difficult recovery ahead.

Now, Dustin is dealing with medical bills, lost income, and mortgage payments that do not wait for recovery. The sudden change has been overwhelming, both physically and financially. As someone who has always shown up for others—whether it’s helping a friend, supporting a coworker, or simply being there with a kind word—Dustin now needs our support more than ever.

This is our chance to show up for him. If you can give, thank you. Any amount helps. If you cannot, sharing this page matters just as much. Let’s help Dustin and Hamlet get through this with less financial pressure and more support. Your kindness will make a real difference in their lives.
