I never imagined I’d be here asking for help, but an upcoming surgery is about to take away my ability to provide for me and my child.

My name is Kylie, I’m a single mom facing surgery to repair a labral tear in my right hip. After trying every other option, surgery is the only choice left.

I will be out of work for 6–8 weeks and will receive only about 60% of my income, before insurance deductions and taxes. Even while working full time and taking any overtime available, I’m barely making ends meet.

This loss of income will make it very difficult to cover basic necessities like my mortgage, utilities, groceries, medical expenses, and everyday needs for my child.

I’ve exhausted all other options and delayed asking for help as long as I could. This fundraiser isn’t for extras, it’s to keep a roof over our heads while I recover and work toward getting back on my feet.
