Support during Roy's recovery from hand surgery

Two weeks ago Monday, as many of you know, Roy cut his hand really bad on a can while making dinner. The cut went almost to the bone. He had surgery on Friday to reattach a severed nerve which they were able to reattach with micro sutures. Luckily the tendon below was will still intact. He will be out of work for a minimum of 6 weeks and he won't have full feeling in his thumb for up to one year. Our family was already really struggling to pay our bills at the time of the accident. We have not yet received the medical bills we've incurred so far from the ER and clinic visits, and not knowing what our insurance will cover, we don't have any idea what our medical bills will total and the cost of going to Harbor View frequently for his appointments is taking its toll as well. We have spoken with the financial aid department at Harbor View and hopefully, that will be taken care of, my main concern now is just to make sure I can cover our bills by myself while he is out of work. I just want him to be able to recover from surgery and get the use of his hand back and not spend the entire time worrying what this is costing our family.  I am already working two jobs to support us and am already spread really thin.  I know this time of year everyone is struggling, but if you can contribute even five dollars it would be of great help to our family.  If you can't donate, we totally understand, but please share this page for us and help us get the help we desperatly need.
