Support during ongoing cancer treatments
Donation protected
Hi,
I'm 48, living in NYC and was diagnosed with cancer last year. It's been trying, and although I can work, it's been tough. I might need a second brain surgery, depending on the results of the new chemo treatment. I would feel less stressed if I could afford mental health therapy, time off, and self-care things like weekly messages (both cancer and the treatment can cause pain), comfy slippers, time and experiences with friends and family and that sort of thing. . It's the little things, it reallly is.
Beyond that, if I do need another surgery, I won't be able to work for a bit and don't need much, but the 5k goal (as a person who doesn't earn much) would allow me to stop working for four months or so without too much hassle, or emptying my meager savings. (School loans will be coming due soon as well, so money is, for many, a giant annoyance) If I make much more, I'll start donating a % to animal sanctuaries.
ANY amount is tremendously helpful, and I can't thank you enough!!
If you'd like to be thanked through song, please enjoy my Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-1DqL54W9jffVk3P4gaa9Q or send a request. I have a terrible track record of actually learning things for people, but you never know.
Love to you all, and thank you for reading this.
Sincerely,
LeAnne
