Hi everyone, my name is Eli, and asking for help like this is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do.

Like a lot of people, I’ve always believed in pushing through tough moments and figuring things out on my own. But the last several months have brought more than I’ve been able to carry by myself.

My family is currently going through a series of serious health challenges. My father was recently diagnosed with acute colon cancer and underwent surgery that required a long and difficult recovery. At the same time, my mother has been dealing with complications from her own hip and knee surgeries. Watching both of my parents struggle physically and emotionally has been incredibly painful. They mean everything to me, and seeing them exhausted, stressed, and hurting has been an empath’s nightmare.

While trying to support them however I can, I’ve also been dealing with my own financial and legal stress. Since November, I’ve been in a frustrating battle with the City of Orlando over a traffic citation that has escalated to the point where my driver’s license is now being threatened with suspension. The situation has created mounting legal costs and uncertainty that I simply wasn’t prepared for.

I work as an artist and barista, and while I love what I do, it can be difficult to stay financially stable when unexpected crises happen all at once. Between trying to stay afloat, supporting my parents, and managing the mental and emotional toll of everything happening around me, I’ve reached a point where I truly need help.

The funds raised here will help me:

• Cover legal and court-related costs tied to the traffic citation

• Prevent a driver’s license suspension that could impact my ability to work

• Pay for basic living expenses during this incredibly difficult period

• Access mental health resources to help me stay grounded through everything
