Since the fall, Duras has spent six months living in toxic mold and has moved four times. The mold illness has affected her immune system and brain function, and recovery is still ongoing. She is currently in safe, clean housing, but she cannot afford to stay and is leaving this month.

The long stretch of illness, housing instability, and underemployment has created an overwhelming financial hole, where even making minimum payments on credit cards is a serious challenge. Duras is reaching out for support to begin lifting out of what has been the most challenging season of her life.
