"Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way." ~ Martin Luther King, Jr
Our furry family members and friends bring us so much joy. I bet every time you are blessed to have the honor of a furry buddy in your life, they make you smile every time you see them, or think of them. They are perfect love all wrapped up in a furry package of cuteness. Sadly, they are often overlooked when we are looking to serve others. But not us. Last year we in the Chicago/IL District at RICOH collected over $500 in support of these cuties and while I think we can improve on that this year, we will set a modest goal of $500. Please join us as we celebrate the legacy of Dr. King by collecting donations that we will be sent directly to DuPage Animal Friends for the benefit of the animals.
About DuPage Animal Friends: DuPage Animal Friends strengthens the lifesaving, compassionate and innovative initiatives at the county shelter. We partner with the shelter to understand the needs of our community's animals, providing financial resources and advocacy on their behalf. We work directly in support of, and on behalf of, DuPage County Animal Services.
DuPage County Animal Services relies on donations to fulfill its mission of providing life-saving, compassionate animal care.
A little bit about DCAS:
DuPage County Animal Services (DCAS) is the county’s sole public animal shelter and control agency. The mission of DCAS is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of people and pets throughout DuPage County.
DCAS cares for the community’s lost, homeless, stray, injured, sick, neglected, and abandoned animals. Let's support their noble work, today.
