See Forward Ministries is raising funds on behalf of one of the communities in our network and a grieving family who has suffered an unimaginable loss.

Dunia Tuhenya, a beloved 17-year-old senior at Moore High School, was tragically taken by gun violence. Born in a refugee camp, Dunia and his family came to the United States in 2016 in search of safety and opportunity. He quickly became a shining light in his community, a straight A student, captain of his soccer team, and an active member of his church’s youth group.

Dunia’s faith, leadership, and compassion touched the lives of many. His life was full of promise and ended far too soon.

We are asking for your support to help Dunia’s family cover funeral expenses and begin the long road to healing. Your donation will also support the broader community as it grieves and continues to uplift youth impacted by violence.
