My name is Ron Amadeo and I’m raising funds for our dog Duke’s cancer treatments. Duke is a 9 1/2 year old very active American Staffordshire Terrier, he loves toys, blankets, pillows, walks, rides, cheddar cheese, people and running in the yard. All he wants to do is be loved and show love, no other agenda. We had a soft tissue sarcoma right under his anus removed in November 2023. The soft tissue sarcoma grew back in the exact same spot and was removed on January 17, 2025, but the cancer cells are multiplying 11 times faster this time. A cancerous adenoma was also found in his anal sac and removed in the January surgery. Any money raised will go directly to paying the vet bills for the radiation, the part that is not covered by the insurance and the out of pocket loans already being paid back. Duke helped my father through his toughest times in his later years staying by his side showing unconditional love, his company was priceless to my father until he Dad passed away last March after a 3 year battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Duke has done the same for us since Dad passed, when things get too dark he is a light. He means the world to us, we are just trying to get him the treatment he needs. Duke needs Chemotherapy after the radiation but my pet insurance will kick back in for the new year to cover most of that, we just need to get him there.
