Hi, I was asked to set up this page with a plea for help and a message of resilience from my fellow charity colleague - Duha, a bright and talented young professional from northern Gaza. Duha has asked me to create this campaign on her behalf as she cannot receive funds directly from GoFundMe.

I have known Duha since 2018. She has dedicated her life to charitable causes, helping others and has been an invaluable team member of our charity, www.challengetochange.me

Equipped with a bachelor’s degree and a flair for creativity, Duha nurtured ambitious aspirations. But now, Duha with her mother and sisters find themselves teetering on the brink of desperation & starvation. The airstrikes that ravaged northern Gaza left Duha injured and her home reduced to rubble. Alongside the physical pain, Duha bears the weight of knowing that her family have lost everything they worked so diligently for - their possessions, their livelihoods, their sense of security.

The situation in northern Gaza is dire. Severe shortages of supplies have made even the most basic necessities an unobtainable luxury, driving families to the edge of despair. They struggle to afford even the limited goods available, their hopes for a better future fading with each nightly bombardment.

But Duha refuses to surrender to despair. As she struggles to support her mother and sisters, she is hoping to raise funds to help her family and niece below who needs surgeries, a journey that begins with your kindness and generosity.

I will transfer all funds donated less the GoFundMe payment processing fees (2.9% fees plus £0.25 per donation) directly to Duha's bank account.

Additionally, Duha is committed to use a portion of the funds to provide assistance to others in her community, struggling to survive amidst the devastation of war.
