Help Duglimar Safely Give Birth in Venezuela
I’m writing to ask for your support on behalf of Duglimar — a resilient and loving mother to a young son, with another baby due any day now. Her world was upended when her partner was deported to Venezuela, leaving her alone in the United States without family, housing, or a support system.
When Duglimar returned to Venezuela, all of the supplies and belongings she had worked hard to gather while in the U.S. were confiscated by airport security staff. She arrived with nothing — and now faces giving birth within the next few days without the most basic necessities. Unfortunately, Dugilmar’s family is unable to help her support herself and her sons and she is now facing additional hardships.
In Venezuela, patients must purchase their own medical and surgical supplies before being admitted for a C-section. This includes everything from surgical gowns and needles to pain medication and sutures.
All funds raised will go directly to Duglimar to cover the cost of her surgery and any essential supplies for her newborn. Your support can make a life-saving difference for this young mother and her children.
