Support Ducky’s stroke recovery

Our beloved Ducky Attercop has suffered a stroke and needs our help!

On February 16, Ducky began having slurred speech at home, which resulted in a trip to UNC Hospitals emergency room. After a couple MRIs, their condition worsened; they lost speech and had weakness on their right side. The doctors have said this was a “deep tissue” stroke which can be ongoing. Ducky is in stable condition now but is being monitored in the ICU for any progression of symptoms.

We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we do know that the Attercops will need support for food, medical, income replacement, and possibly more.

This GoFundMe is set up by friends and family of the Attercops, and all funds go directly to Nicole and Ducky.
