It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Duc Vu (Vũ Gia Đức) on May 27, 2026. Duc was a beloved husband to Haidee, and a cherished father to Adam and Avery. He is also survived by his two sisters, two nieces, and four nephews. He was 67 years old.

Duc was a constant pillar in his community, his quiet smile giving way to dad jokes that made everyone laugh. He was always offering a helping hand, from painting the office at the kids' school, to driving a van full of their friends to their home for play dates.

The family is now left with many uncertainties as they face a future without Duc. Your support will directly provide stability and comfort to Duc's family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Funds will help alleviate immediate expenses, and support the children's educational pursuits. In the fall, Adam begins his second year of college, and Avery will start 8th grade.

Duc's absence is deeply felt by everyone who knew him, and the family is grateful for any and all support during this period of grief.
