Chidubem, fondly known as Dubem, was the embodiment of wit, strength, courage, and resilience. Even as life unraveled with a devastating diagnosis, Chidubem held onto his faith, teaching us invaluable lessons along the way.

Diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer, at the tender age of 14 in February 2021, Chidubem's life took a dramatically unexpected turn. In the past six months, Dubem spent most of his time in the hospital, braving the end stages of his illness with more strength than anyone could believe possible. Yet, on Monday, 01/29/2024, Chidubem's journey on this earth concluded. 

Today, as we begin the journey to say our goodbyes, the toll of the fight unfolds in more ways than we had anticipated. The pain of losing Dubem expands beyond the emotional and physical exhaustion to an impending financial burden as a result of caring for a loved one with cancer.

This GoFundMe campaign is a testament to Dubem's extraordinary life and his unyielding spirit. On behalf of the Okoli family, our aim is to gather funds to support with his funeral expenses and relieve the weight of outstanding medical costs.
