Support Duane's Fight Against Lymphoma

My dad, Duane, is the best! He is probably horrified that his daughters are fussing over him with this fundraising effort because that's just how he is - caring about others and avoiding attention on himself. Well dad, we learned how to take care of the ones we love from you! So it's our turn to take care of you and mom, whether you like the fussing or not. You have taught us to care - and you are worth caring about!

Throughout the year 2024, dad faced a lot with his health. After checking into things, it was revealed to him that he has Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and he began to receive treatment. At first, he seemed to be responding well. However, his latest PET scan in December resulted in some concerning numbers and he traveled to Pittsburg to see Lymphoma specialists. They revealed that he has both Underlying Follicular Lymphoma and Large BCell Lymphoma. He is looking at several months of treatments in Pittsburgh through March, including a prolonged stay. We will keep you updated as things unfold.

For now, we are hoping to help with expenses related to travel: lodging, food on the road, gas, and any other miscellaneous costs that may arise while they make these trips to Pittsburgh. It is unknown what kinds of medical costs will arise, but we will keep everyone updated if there are additional needs there as well.

More than anything, we hope that you'll join us in prayer for both dad and mom! Both Duane and Julie have spent countless hours in prayer and giving for others, and it is time for us to shower them with love and cover them with the power of prayer as they face these challenges. We believe God has a plan, and we are here to see them through all of it.
