Support Duane Keogh During His Recovery
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friends and colleagues, Duane and Johanna, who are facing a challenging time and need our support. Duane just had shoulder surgery on December 18th after having had a bad accident a year and a half ago. Yes, that is how long he had to wait for surgery. During that time, he has been pushing through to keep working, even while in pain and during one of the worst years for working in our industry. Now, as he recovers, he is unable to work for several months. Unfortunately, this means Duane will be without income during this period, which adds a significant financial strain to an already difficult time.
Duane, a fellow Canadian actor and performer, is the kind of person who shows up for others, whether it’s lending a helping hand or offering a listening ear. Now, can we in turn do the same for him and ensure he can focus on healing without the added stress of financial insecurity.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering essential expenses, including:
• Rent and utilities
• Groceries and basic living needs
• Medical bills and post-surgery care costs
Our goal is to raise $6,000 to help Duane stay afloat during this recovery period. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and show Duane that he and Johanna are not alone during this time.
Here is something unique...Duane wants to be able to give back in a way he knows he can. If you donate $150, he will do a video call on your birthday (or for a friend). If you donate $500, he will edit a 3 minute family video for you, or for $1000, he will write and record a fun personalized song to the music of your choice of original music. Duane is so talented and creative and what a neat gift this could be for someone. (click this link to hear him! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ1pf9U3LYY )
If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your network would mean the world to us. Spreading the word helps more people learn about Duane’s story and increases the chance of reaching our goal.
Together, we can help lift the burden, especially at this time of year, and make a challenging time a little easier for someone who has brought so much light to others. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude and hope,
