Hi, my name is D.

I wasn’t planning on creating a GoFundMe- but after sharing my story publicly, countless people encouraged me to stop blocking my blessings and allow my community to support me the way I’ve always tried to support others.

I’m a professional pole dancer, creator, and the former owner of Pole Kisses LV, a pole, bungee, and aerial fitness studio based in North Las Vegas that empowered women, femmes, and thems both in person and virtually.

In January 2025, I took over ownership of Pole Kisses when the studio was scheduled to permanently close its doors in December 2024. At the time, I was simply an instructor. When the closure was announced, I offered to help however I could. That offer turned into an opportunity to take over the business entirely. I signed on to an existing SBA loan, the commercial lease, and inherited a full team with the hope of saving a space that meant everything to our community.

In my first few months, I increased studio revenue by 160%. But being a first-time business owner, still learning the realities of payroll, scaling, and overhead, I made costly mistakes. I hired a larger team than the business could sustainably support and poured every dollar I had into keeping the doors open.

I drained my savings. I fell behind on my own rent and bills. My car was repossessed in front of the studio. I was no longer functioning as a person- just a shell trying to keep a safe haven alive for everyone else.

By November 2025, I had no choice but to close the studio.

Today, all of the equipment; poles, rigs, aerial apparatuses, is stored in my garage waiting for the day I can reopen a space that so many in Las Vegas considered home. A place of healing, confidence, movement, and belonging.

I currently carry approximately $100,000 in debt:
• About $80,000 remaining on the SBA loan
• Outstanding wages owed to former staff (many of whom have shown me immense grace, patience, and kindness during this process)

Paying my former staff is my top priority. They believed in me, and I refuse to leave them behind.

Since closing the studio, I’ve started a public social media series documenting my return to club work in an effort to pay off debt and eventually reopen Pole Kisses. While I haven’t made a significant financial dent yet, the series has grown into a large platform, reaching thousands of people who’ve found value in the transparency, education, and behind the scenes reality of rebuilding from the ground up.

Creating this content is real labor emotionally, physically, and mentally, and I’m doing everything I can to make this right.

This GoFundMe exists to:
• Help pay my former staff what they are owed
• Begin chipping away at the SBA loan
• Make it possible to reopen Pole Kisses in the future

If you’ve ever taken my class, learned from my content, felt seen in my story, or simply believe in second chances and community led rebuilding- thank you for being here. Even sharing this page means more than you know.

With gratitude and love,
D
