Support Drexel's Tanzania Computer Lab Project
Donation protected
We are a group of passionate students from Drexel University participating in the Fall Break in Tanzania: Culture & Community Development Intensive Course Abroad (ICA). As part of our commitment to global service and sustainable impact, we are launching a Give Back Project to support a local secondary school in Moshi, Tanzania.
Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help establish a fully functioning computer lab that will give students access to digital learning resources—including virtual textbooks, educational software, and tech training that their school currently cannot provide.
We are proud to partner with TEDI (Tanzania Enlightenment Development Innovations)—a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to youth empowerment and educational development. With the help of TEDI, this initiative will fund:
• A learning platform server to host digital content and textbooks
• Technology supplies for student access
• Computer training for schoolteachers
• Travel costs for the TEDI team to join us in Moshi and guide implementation
This computer lab won’t just provide technology—it will unlock opportunity. Digital literacy is an essential skill for students in Tanzania, where access to books and technology is often limited. Your support will help bridge this gap and leave a lasting legacy in the community.
