Help Get Drew to MD Anderson for Specialized Cancer Care

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are raising funds to help our dear friend Drew get to Houston, Texas, where she will be seen at MD Anderson Cancer Center for specialized care.

Drew is facing her third recurrence of cancer, and this time her biopsy revealed small cell cancer in her lymph node, a rare and aggressive form that requires highly specialized expertise. Because of this, she will be traveling to MD Anderson to meet with a doctor who specializes specifically in this type of cancer. Her visit is expected to last 3–5 days, during which critical decisions about her treatment plan will be made.

This journey comes with many unavoidable expenses — flights, lodging, meals, transportation, and time away from work. As treatment moves forward, Drew may also need to rely on disability, which adds even more financial strain during an already overwhelming time.

Drew is a single mom to two incredible kids, ages 5 and 15, who are both very active and rely on her every day. She has always been strong for them, even while navigating unimaginable health challenges. Right now, she deserves the chance to focus on healing without the constant worry of how to make ends meet.

Our hope is to lift some of the stress and financial burden from Drew so she can put her energy where it belongs — on her health and her family.
