We are working towards raising funds to support Andew "Drew" Wortman on his life saving journey to, and recovery of, a Heart & Liver transplant.

Drew is the much loved husband to his wife Stacy; amazing stepdad to his stepdaughters Kaite & Leslie; and beloved son of Rosemary. Brother to his Union family.

Drew has worked many years as a Stagehand & Rigger for IATSE 23 & IATSE 481. His passion for working hard and his strength earned him the nickname "OX". He is also a member of Scituate RI CERT, and former volunteer fire fighter for North Scituate FD & Potterville FD. He has also been an amazing Santa Claus for a few years at Scituate Candlelight Stroll, The Highland Gun Club Toy Drive, a dear friend's daycare and a couple other events. He is always ready to help anyone & everyone, and now we are kindly asking for your help.

Since June, Drew has not been able to work, and now been denied long term disability from his current non-union job. While starting the application for SSDI, it can take months for even an answer. With numerous trips to and from Boston, as he goes through all the testing, monitoring, doctor visits, etc. not only will funds assist with some of the medical portions it will assist in the travel and potential lodging. It will assist in setting up what he will need to finish up his recovery at home, bills and groceries.
