On June 15th, my brother Drew Jedynak was involved in a serious car accident that left him with multiple traumatic injuries. He was airlifted to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where doctors discovered a brain bleed, swelling in his brain, a fractured rib, and a herniated spinal disc.
Thanks to the incredible medical team, the bleeding has stopped, but Drew is still facing significant challenges. While he is now awake and talking, he remains confused and is in need of continued care and rehabilitation.
Once he is stable enough, Drew will be transferred to the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab to begin the next phase of his recovery journey. We’re hopeful, but the road ahead will be long and filled with both physical and emotional challenges.
We are asking for support to help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and the financial burden this accident has placed on our family. Any contribution—no matter the size—means the world to us and brings us one step closer to helping Drew heal.
Please keep Drew in your thoughts and prayers, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
