Help Outfit Our Soccer League with John 14:6 Warm-Up Gear

Hello friends, family, and supporters,

My name is Drew Collins, and I coach a recreational soccer team of amazing 7- and 8-year-olds. Recently, our team faced a challenge regarding Bible verses on jerseys. Out of this situation, a new idea was born: to bring encouragement, unity, and faith to our players through warm-up gear featuring John 14:6 — “Jesus said, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

Our Vision

We want every child to take the field not only ready to play, but also reminded of the greater purpose of teamwork, faith, and community. What started as a way to support my team has grown into a vision to outfit our entire league with warm-up gear.

Our Plan

• Phase 1: Outfit my faith filled team of 13 players with warm-up hoodies.

• Phase 2: Expand to more teams as funds allow.

• Ultimate Goal: Outfit all faith filled players in the league with warm-up apparel (hoodies, T-shirts, sweat towels, and water bottles depending on budget and weather).

• Beyond the Field: As additional funds allow, we plan to expand to car decals for parents, spirit gear, and other creative ways to help families show support and keep John 14:6 front and center in our community.

Costs

• Hoodie: $30–40 each

• Long-Sleeve Shirt: $15–20 each

• Practice shirts: $10–15 each

• Sweat towels/Water Bottles: $8–12 each

• Team cost (13 kids): ~$500

• League-wide cost (roughly 400 kids and beyond): $12,000–$15,000

How You Can Help

Your support—whether $10, $50, or more—goes directly toward providing apparel and gear for these kids and their families. Every donation helps us move from one team to many, spreading encouragement across the entire league and beyond.

I want to be very clear: I will not be keeping a single dollar of what comes in. Every excess dollar raised will go directly back into the community—purchasing Bibles for the kids or providing other faith-based gifts that point them toward Christ.

This isn’t just about gifts, its about teaching showing every participant whether in the game or on the sideline about the ultimate gift of salvation through Jesus Christ—it’s about giving our kids a visible reminder of faith, teamwork, and character every time they step on the field, and allowing parents to proudly stand behind them.
