In the spring of 2022, Dresha was five months pregnant with her first child when she received devastating news—she had stage 3 breast cancer. With immense strength, careful medical care, and unwavering determination, she safely gave birth to a beautiful baby girl while undergoing treatment.

Despite her courage and resilience, Dresha’s battle is far from over. Her cancer has since spread to her liver and brain, forcing her to endure one difficult medical procedure after another—all while being a loving mother, devoted wife, and dedicated friend.

Many of you know Dresha as a compassionate and hardworking attorney who has dedicated her career to serving others. Whether fighting to prevent evictions or advocating for misunderstood individuals battling mental illness, she has always put the needs of others before her own. She is the rock of her family, friendships, and community—especially within our sisterhood Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., where she is the rock of our line.

Now, Dresha needs us. She needs a village to help carry the weight of this fight. The financial burden of ongoing treatments, medical expenses, and daily life responsibilities continues to grow. We are asking for your generosity—whatever amount you can give—to help relieve some of this stress so she can focus on what truly matters: healing and spending precious time with her family.

1. Covering medical bills and treatment expenses.

2. Supporting travel, lodging, and meals during her treatment.

3. Helping with day-to-day living costs, as she is unable to work during this time.
