⛅️ What is Dream Screen LA?

Founder’s note:

Hi, I’m Winnie Mu- a visual artist, dancer, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles.

One of the most important things I’ve learned as a creative, is that sharing our work and building community is the heart of being an artist. I’ve been lucky to meet so many generous, endlessly imaginative people who remind me that we don’t create in isolation. Art is a home for what we need to express but cannot always say, a place where the unspoken can be felt, seen, and understood. Witnessing someone else’s story can help us understand our own, especially in a world that is always shifting, where so much feels uncertain, and connection matters more than ever.

That’s why I’m launching Dream Screen LA, a one-night live performance and film screening event to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and community. At its core, Dream Screen is about creating space to be seen, to be heard, to create, to share, and to dream together. It’s a celebration of artists exploring new ways to tell their stories, and of the communities that make those stories possible.
