Support Dray Barrett Devastated By Hurricane Helene

Hi, my name is Dray Barrett and on Friday, September 27th I got up and was preparing for work when the fire department knocked on my door and told me I needed to evacuate. Within a half hour I escaped with my dog and a few personal items. I weathered the storm for 7 hours in the car; I returned on Saturday to find that I had lost everything, but was able to rummage through sewage water to salvage some clothing and sneakers. This has been devastating to say the least. I attained my masters degree in data analytics from Appalachian State last year and have been working full time in Boone, NC. I have been staying at a hotel in Wilkesboro 40 minutes off the mountain; the hotel is not pet friendly, but they were kind enough to let my dog stay due to the extenuating circumstances. I am asking for help to buy an XL dog crate, dog food, dog toys, basic toiletries, furniture, and help with relocation fees that come along with finding a new apartment. Any amount would be greatly appreciated!
