Support Drax's Urgent Medical Treatment

Everyone who knows Jose and I know that our dogs are our whole world. Thursday night Drax went from his super playful self to not being able to keep any food down or water in a matter of 30 minutes. Friday he improved a little and was able to eat a tiny bit of food but in the end threw it up. Saturday morning when I got home from work he was extremely lethargic, shaking and unable to keep any food down still. We called the ER vet at NVC Nederland and ultimately made the decision to take him. The vet said that his white blood cell count and liver enzymes are extremely elevated probably due to the dog ingesting something toxic. The plan is to keep him for 48 hours for IV antibiotics, fluids, electrolytes and monitoring. However, the total we were quoted was around $2500 and with both of us being in school that is a hard bill to pay. We want the best for our boy and have decided to pay the money and get treatment. However, we are asking for any help at all in paying that total bill off. It would mean the world to us and our boys.
