Hi, this is Elizabeth from@brunomarsthechi. As those of you who follow the page know, we’ve had a terrible year. Since this time last June we’ve lost 6 dogs and 3 cats. Our vet bills have been in the tens of thousands and it seems like once we get to the point where we can start trying to save up again, another emergency happens. This time it’s our big boy, our boxer Drago. He went to the vet today for routine bloodwork and they did a cursory ultrasound and discovered a massive tumor on his spleen. It’s truly a wonder it hasn’t ruptured yet, and he’s scheduled for an emergency splenectomy tomorrow morning. The vet estimate is almost $4500 for the surgery and the pathology on the tumor. Drago is a sweet, nice, boy and the best big brother and we want to give him every chance we can. With so many loses this year I would love to see one success story.
