Dr. Todd Smith suffered three serious strokes on June 28, 2025. He was hospitalized at Vanderbilt Hospital and underwent two brain surgeries. He is currently in a rehab hospital, where he is receiving intensive therapy to regain the use of his right arm and hand and to learn how to walk again.

This fundraiser is to help pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance, which are expected to run to $200,000 or more.

Updated 7/20/25: Todd is making progress in rehab! He's now able to sit in a wheelchair and took his first 10 steps with minimal assistance. He has regained some mobility in his right hand and arm...this is all great news! Thanks for your continued prayers and support. Funds received will be used to pay his medical and rehab expenses.
