Support Dr. Salvador Papa's Recovery Journey

Please help us donate to help one of the most loving, caring, selfless people in our community. Dr. Salvador Papa has been a pediatrician for over 50 years, with a practice located in Pasadena, MD. He is a loving father of five, grandfather of seven, and an even more loving and caring Pediatrician who has taken care of countless babies and patients. He has always loved children and been dedicated to their care and well-being. He is a very compassionate person and always willing to help others - friends, family, and strangers - when they are in need.

Dr. Papa is now in need of our support. He is currently in Intensive Care at University of Maryland due to heart complications. He has undergone a triple bypass open heart surgery on Christmas Day and is now focused on recovering.

Through a series of very unfortunate events over the last several years, Dr. Papa and his wife have struggled financially and are currently working through bankruptcy and possible foreclosure on their home. Since 2020, Dr. Papa has lost a significant percentage of his wages due to insurance companies delaying payments. In the last year alone, he has gone several months with no payments at all. Because of this, he has experienced severe financial burden and stress as his business and personal bills have piled up with no end in sight.

In early December, Dr. Papa was also involved in a car accident, not of his fault, which left his vehicle totaled. He and his wife unfortunately do not have the funds to purchase another car at the moment. They struggle daily to pay for basic needs - groceries, gas, electric, phone bills, etc. His family has provided support and funds as much as they have been able over the last several years, but now need to reach out to the community for assistance.

Dr. Papa is a very hard-working, compassionate person, who is loved by his friends, family, and so many people in the community. Please help us donate to ease his financial hardships and give him some peace of mind while he recovers from surgery and works to get his quality of life back.
