I recently had the pleasure of helping Dr. Lauren Davenport, a local mother and small business owner, secure a lease for her expanding business. Dr. Lauren is a physical therapist, entrepreneur, mother, wife, and health advocate. She is the Founder and Owner of Uplift Pelvic Health & Performance in Lake Norman/North Charlotte, NC.

Unfortunately, Dr. Lauren recently and unexpectedly suffered a stroke. She is also pregnant with her second child. Her road to recovery might take a while, and as she focuses on her health and her unborn child, she will have to step away from her patients and her business. This is a challenging time for her as a small business owner.

We are raising funds to help cover her lease payments during her recovery, providing her with peace of mind and the ability to focus on her health. Dr. Lauren specializes in pelvic health, with expertise in bowel and bladder conditions, pelvic pain, perinatal care, and post-surgical interventions. She holds a certification in Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism™ coaching and trigger point dry needling. A North Carolina native, she earned her BS in Biology from the University of Mount Olive while competing as a D2 volleyball athlete and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at East Carolina University.

Her passion for lifelong athleticism drives her work, and she enjoys CrossFit with friends and playing pickleball with her husband. She is a proud mother to her daughter Mallory and golden retriever Maisel.
